In these lectures, John Piper explores the glories and truths of God that captivated and motivated these men, their strengths and weaknesses, and the suffering they endured. He also suggests what we can learn from them as we "run with endurance the race that is set before us" (Heb 2:12). The lectures were originally delivered during various years at the annual Bethlehem Conference for Pastors.
