Download Questions and Information
There are many ways for you to enjoy the digital audio that you purchase at christianaudio. We’ll go over some of the basics here. First make sure that you know what is legal (What are my rights?) so that you can enjoy your digital audio with a clear conscience.
All of your free and purchased digital downloads are stored in the “My Account” section under the original order number. To access your downloads, use your login information to sign into the My Account section, click on the associated order number of the download you want and then click on the book title you want to download, found near the bottom of the receipt. You can also click on ‘View all of my Downloads’ to see a list of all titles you have purchased.
Downloading digital audio at christianaudio is quite easy. Unfortunately for many of us, anything to do with technology is hard enough to cause some problems from time-to-time. Here are some things to keep in mind when you are downloading your digital audio.
You can download most digital audio in three different formats: WMA (DRM WMA), mp3, or m4b. WMA audio is optimized for Windows. mp3 audio works well on operating systems other than Windows. m4b audio is the newest format available on christianaudio and is an audiobook format specifically designed for use with Apple’s iTunes and iPod. For more information regarding our download formats visit this Help Center topic.
Please note that some of our digital audio is not available in all three formats format. You can always look at the ‘Available Formats’ badges on each title’s information page to see the formats available to download.
To download the digital content from our site, simply log into your account and click on the order number associated with the title you want to download. Next, click on the title of the audiobook near the bottom of your receipt, and then select your format. Make sure that during your download, you single click the “Download” button of only one file segment at a time.
Do not use the “Refresh” or “Back” button of your browser while you are downloading, as this will use one of your download attempts. We allow up to twelve download attempts before your download expires. Please realize, however, that it only takes one attempt to download an entire audiobook, even if the audiobook consists of multiple files.
Download speeds may decrease or even cancel if you are trying to download multiple file segments at the same time. Also realize that slower internet speeds will result in slower downloads.
Feel free to contact us if you have any trouble.
If you ordered a digital download and did not complete the download at the time of your purchase or you experienced an error during download, you can use your login information to sign into the My Account section of christianaudio. From the “My Account” section you can return to your recent order and finish your download. Unfortunately, we do not allow resumed downloading from the middle of a file. Therefore, if your download stops midway, you will need to completely re-download that entire segment.
