How do I download the free monthly audiobook?
We are glad to offer a free download of one of our audiobooks every month! Downloading free content is just as easy as downloading purchased content, but here are a few questions we get asked about our free downloads.
You do not have to buy our Monthly Subscription Credits in order to download any of our free products or our free monthly audiobooks. You are required to create an account to download any product; but creating an account is a completely free process.
Yes, each month we offer a completely free download of a selected audiobook. 100% free.
Even though each month we offer a free download and other free products, the copyright rules, laws, and policies are the same. To view these rules, visit the “What are my rights?” help topic.
There are a few reasons as to why you are still seeing charges after you have used a coupon:
– If you have already used the current month’s coupon code, then you will need to log back into your account and download as usual. The system will only allow one free download coupon per customer per month.
– If you selected another form of the free audiobook other than download. Remember that a download is the only free form of the book offered and the coupon will only work for a download.
This step by step process is identical to placing a regular order:
1. Click on “Free Downloads” near the top-right and bottom-left of every page, or click here.
2. Be sure to select the “Download” option as that is what is offered for free, and click “Add to Cart.” If you do not select “Download,” the coupon code will not work.
3. Confirm the order is correct and click the “Checkout” button.
4. If you have not yet signed in, do so. If you do not have one, you can open a free account.
5. Enter the coupon code that corresponds with the month, e.g. “JULY2007” and click “Checkout.”
6. Confirm the coupon worked and click “Checkout” again. If you ordered other items at the same time, you will need to enter a credit card information to pay for the other items. If you did not order other items and the system is prompting for a credit card, you did not enter the coupon code correctly.
7. Click “Finish!”
8. A page will come up and you will click on the title of the free audiobook of the month in order to download.
9. Select the format you want to download. If you are unsure of which format to download, you can find more information by clicking here.
10. Once you’ve selected your preferred format, click the “Download” button for the first file segment. Once that segment is completed, click the “Download” button for the second segment and so on. (We do not recommend downloading multiple segments at one time.)
*Note: A window will pop-up and ask where you want to save the file. Be sure to put it in a location where you can remember.
