Narrator Thoughts - Not much to say one way or another. He did have a good voice and put some good emphasis into the words, but it wasn't amazing.
Book Thoughts - When I saw this book come up on my list that I could review I jumped at the chance. A few months ago I saw Jeremy Camp in concert and was impressed by his humility and his honesty. So when this book came up I was so excited to read more about his life. His journey hasn't been easy, but through it all God has brought him to a place where he can say, I still believe in God.
One of the things I liked about the book was his honesty. About his struggles, his roots, and his anger. In today's world we aren't comfortable when people raise questions or struggle. For Jeremy it was just one step on the journey. He worked through the struggles and questions. I appreciated that he didn't make light of his anger, but looked at it as something to wrestle though with God.
Overall, I found the book enjoyable and thought-provoking.

- Trusting God Despite Hardship
I Still Believe by Jeremy Camp is an informative insight into one of the more well-known Christian music artists today. Behind all the albums and tours is a very interesting story of hardship, God’s grace to rebuild and maintaining a strong relationship with God while pursuing a musical career.
The center piece of this book is Jeremy’s first wife, Melissa, who cruelly died of cancer soon after they were married in their early twenties. The amazing aspect about Melissa was her love for God and people despite being very sick and dying. She remains an inspiration to him despite moving on with his life with second wife, Adie and children as well.
Although not a huge fan of Jeremy Camp I have enjoyed a few of his songs and I was very interested to discover some of the meanings and motivations behind his songs and his life. I found his experiences with the Christian music industry quite interesting and it was great to hear about the people deeply affected by his music.
The narration was very good as it conveyed the emotion behind his wife’s death and his feelings in the period following it. Also it was easy to listen to, which made it enjoyable.
This is a fabulous book for Jeremy Camp fans but also for anyone who enjoys listening to Christian music. It would be a good book for those suffering from loss as well to see how Jeremy handled it at such a young age.

- Great Inspiration for any Jeremy Camp Fan
Anyone who listens to contemporary Christian music will be familiar with the name Jeremy Camp, however, not as many people will be familiar with his story. I Still Believe, a memoir, by Jeremy Camp with David Thomas is the stunning tale of the life of this musician who has dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his music.
When we, as music fans, hear our favorite artist on the radio, see them on stage, or purchase their music through iTunes we seldom think of the person behind the music. We see the artist on stage pouring their heart out for God and think “wow, that must really be a great life.” However, sometimes looks can be deceiving.
In his latest update to his memoir, Camp provides his fans with a behind the scenes look at his past, a past that has not always been so grand. Coming from a family of parents that turned their backs on a life of sin to accept Jesus and to live for Him, Jeremy found Jesus at an early age. Throughout his youth he struggled with shedding his past and living a life for God.
After graduating from college, Jeremy met the woman of his dreams and fell in love, only to discover that she was diagnosed with a terminal form of cancer. In his book, Camp relays the struggles, the trials, and finally the triumphs that came with loosing his wife after only a couple of months of marriage.
But this story does not have a sad conclusion, Camp relates the struggles that he went through following the loss of his wife, the support received from friends and family, and finally the realization that God is in control and we must submit to his will. Jeremy continued with his ministry, strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
As his music flourished, Jeremy Camp met someone who shared his faith in God and they were soon married. Now with three beautiful children, Camp continues to praise God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his music around the world.
I Still Believe is a great example of faith overcoming the obstacles that we face in our lives. Jeremy Camp is an inspiration to anyone who has faced the loss of a loved one and his memoir provides strength and encouragement for those who are having a difficult time seeing God’s plan in their life. Jeremy’s faith is an example for us all to live our lives according to His will.
I Still Believe is well written book and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of this young man’s life. The book does a great job of showing how his faith and trust in God has shaped his life as well as his music. I recommend this book to any Jeremy Camp fan, music lover, or anyone who is facing troubles in their lives and needs a little inspiration. I give this book 5 of 5 stars.
Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy, the book may bring a few tears to your eyes but it will inspire you to live everyday for God.
- Touching story, well-written book
This is a very thoughtful book. I have heard Jeremy Camp's songs, but I had no idea of his story. I touched by his example and faith. I also enjoyed learning the meaning behind some of his most popular songs. When you hear a song on the radio, you can often relate because of what you are going through in life. It gives new meaning to me as a listener to find out why the artist wrote the song in the first place. I felt he was honest about his life, the struggles he has experienced, and how everything has not been easy for him in his career.
The audio version is read by Adam Verner, and he did a good job. I had no problems listening to him or staying focused on the book.
This book is well-written, and I feel it can benefit the listener by hearing his story and his example of faith during times of loss and heart break. I am so glad I had the opportunity to listen to it.

- Awesome audiobook!
I am so glad I listened to Jeremy Camp's audiobook, "I Still Believe". His faith in God through difficult times really encouraged me. Jeremy shares how his faith in Jesus grew over time, beginning with his godly upbringing at home. His desire was to please the Lord and live a life that glorifies Him. When Jeremy met his wife, Melissa, he shares the heart break he had over their break-up. God brings them back together, but not long after their honeymoon they find out that Melissa's cancer came back and she had only weeks or months to live. Jeremy was only 23 years old at the time, and his faith remained rock solid, even though there were times that he cried out to God for understanding. I know the pain of having a family member die from cancer, so his story really touched me. Hearing his continued story of finding love again with his wife, Adrienne was a joy. I especially loved hearing him talk about his desire to have his ministry focused on pleasing the Lord, and finding his direction from God. I highly recommend this book and plan to buy it as gifts for friends.
I liked listening to memoirs, but I didn't enjoy this one as much as I thought I would. I didn't know much about Jeremy Camp apart from his first wife dying not long after he married her. I enjoyed aspects of it, like the stories from the author's childhood and of God's provision throughout his life. I also enjoyed hearing about his encounters with God through his grief after his first wife died.
It was good to hear about his new wife and family and that he still believes in God, that he didn't let the grief engulf him but has carried on encouraging others to do the same. I think maybe the narrator wasn't as emotional as I wanted him to be, but Adam Verner does an excellent job otherwise. I think this audio would be great for fans of Jeremy camp and for other listeners who are struggling with grief.
