An oft-neglected part of the Trinity
Stormie's plunge into the topic of the Holy Spirit is a refreshing look at this oft-neglected part of the Trinity. Her reminder of the Holy Spirit's power and the strength that He can lend us encourages us to remember that we "can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Phil. 4:13.

Stormie's anecdotes along with her trademark sample prayers make implementing her suggestions a personal journey toward God reader-friendly.

Stormie doesn't fall into the mindset of the prosperity movement where the Holy Spirit is seen as an etheric wishing well and your inability to receive blessings as a lack of faith. She bases her view on the Bible and its admonition that you will have times of trouble and its assurance that God, through the Holy Spirit, will be there to comfort, support, and guide you.

Having read other books that deal specifically with the Holy Spirit, I have to say that Stormie's handling of the sometimes confusing topic is the easiest to read and understand.

Thank you, Stormie, for helping me understand my role in the Great Relationship.

Excellent Book to be Read & Re-read!
I loved this book!! It came at a time when her words were really relevant in my life. So much of her book really applied, and gave me so much to reflect on.

I really like how after each thought and/or conversation/chapter she offers a prayer. Her prayers are so perfectly phrased, I wish she would write a book on how to pray. (perhaps she has and I missed it, I will definitely look into it for sure!!)

My only complaint about the audio edition is with the narrator. She has an awful sound to her voice at times. It honestly sounds like she is reading with a pencil in her mouth. But other than that she has a great way of really making it sound like she wrote the book herself, reading her thoughts and feelings directly to you. I believe she is just that connected to the author, or is feeling the power of the authors words herself! I also cannot imagine any other voice reading this book, even with the pencil problem, this readers voice is nice, strong, and passionate.

I would highly recommend this book! Probably more so to women, but I am pretty sure men and teenagers would benefit from it just as well.

Thank you Christianaudio.com for providing me a free copy of a really great book! I appreciate the opportunity to be able to provide a review for this fine book!

Excellent book overall
I was offered this book from Christianaudio.com as a part of their audio book review program and I jumped at the chance as I have liked every book that I have read by Stormie Omartian since I read Power of a Praying Wife. I really feel that Mrs. Omartian truly believes what she writes and truly wants us all to lead a better life by the things that she has learned on her Christian journey. Although I don't agree with her theology about the Holy Spirit she doesn't bang you on the head with what she believes but gives you practical advice on how to have the Holy Spirits power in your life . The reason I gave this audio book a four out of five is because at the end of each section it is ended with a prayer and some scripture. It is very difficult in audio to go back to listen to the prayer again or to the Scripture again. Other than that I thought that this audio book was done very well and I will be looking for this narrator again. Some of the sections in the book were Led to Prayer, Led to Bear Good Fruit and Led to be Transformed with many other subjects covered as well. Excellent book. Highly recommend.

The Importance Of The Holy Spirit
Lead Me, Holy Spirit by Stormie Omartian is a thorough examination of the Holy Spirit and His role in the believer’s life. The main emphasis of the book is that the Holy Spirit is sent as a helper to the believer and that they should seek help more often instead of trying to do it in their own strength.

Helpful insights into how the Holy Spirit leads believers are also included such as a small voice, urging to do something abnormal or just discernment about a certain situation. Warnings are provided that the Holy Spirit will never lead you to sin and that the results of the Holy Spirit’s work should lead to the believer giving the glory to God and not prideful boasting.

The Holy Spirit will cause the believer to follow God with a greater hunger and will almost certainly result in miracles and healing, if obedience is in place to follow the Spirit’s leading.

The narration was quite good, as it was easy to listen to and the flow of the audio book was constant. The narrator used emphasis quite well and it didn’t become monotonous.

This book is a useful resource to enlighten believers to the fact that the Holy Spirit has been provided to them for the purpose of being a helper. It will also help them to get to know how the Holy Spirit operates and the results that are capable if they work together with Him.

Phenomenal Work
One may get uneasy with the idea of an entire book focusing on the Holy Spirit. Rest assured, this one is well worth your time – whether you feel you understand the Holy Spirit’s role well, or have a lot of questions/cautions/concerns about Him. In fact, Stormie has written about the Holy Spirit in a way which parallels how we are to live in relation to the Spirit – He is involved in every area of our life. He is the Helper. This book isn’t about crazy, freaky things, it’s about living the Christian life. Stormie has much insight to share in her practical, pleasant manner.

One of the great things that I appreciate about Stormie is that she herself seems to be living what she’s writing about. I found her words encouraging, not condescending. She helps the listener to realize that the Spirit is accessible to all Christians, and being led by the Spirit is important for every Christian, not just the “super-saints”.

This book isn’t about finding the Holy Spirit as the new god you’ve been missing, rather it’s about living for the One True God with the Help He Himself has so wonderfully provided for us. I believe this book has much potential to grow you in your walk with Christ. Grace is in here, the cross is in here. Highly recommended.

wonderfully inspiring
What does it mean to be led by the Holy Spirit?

This the question in which Omartian opens this discussion on the Holy Spirit. She talks about how she became a Christian, and when she came to know who the Holy Spirit is. Omartian’s book follows the concept of her other works, that is, in guiding the believer to live the power of G-d in a spirit-filled manner. This book isn’t about charismatic practices or attempts to satisfy the need of self-indulgence through spiritual abnormality. This book isn’t about criticizing the experience of others. Rather, Omartian’s writing discusses how to submit to the Spirit, live by the Spirit, and be led by the Spirit. Omartian’s experience stems from learning to trust and rely on G-d’s presence.

Raudman’s narration of the text is presented in a medium to face paced manner. Appropriate to the script, Raudman’s voice is eloquent and an excellent match for the book. Her presentation carries the right inflection and tone for the text, encouraging listeners to picture the images and carry the discussion. From the Jesus Movement to modern-era life, the voice of the text gives life to Omartian’s words, and encourages believers to find hope in Holy Spirit – the very spirit of G-d.

Fans of Omartian will love this book, especially the audio edition. The strong, biblical message presented in the words are matched by the peaceful performance presented by Raudman. For those on the fence about whether to invest in this book: take the plunge – it will be worth it.
