The Hiding Place

This is still one of the best Christian books of the past 50 years. Every Christian should read (or listen to) this classic.

I had read the Hiding Place in my teens, Now in my 40's, when I saw the book in the library, I brushed past it with a few memories flooding back but no desire to pick it up. Then, intrigued by how much I did not remember of the story, I downloaded the audio book and listened to it.
Bernadette Dunn has the perfect voice to draw you back into Holland pre-second world war and paint an unfolding picture of the life of the Ten-Boom family. It is a beautiful testimony of the work of God in the midst of horror. I have now listened too it 3 times from start to finish and know I will listen to it again. I have recommended it to many many people.

The reader of this audiobook is fantastic. Her voice inflections and characterizations are perfect. It is very easy to listen to. The book itself is gripping and very well written. The story is amazing and a great testimony to God's love in the midst of extreme hate.

What an incredible story of God's love for us, perseverance and hope. Corrie and her family were amazing people. I have been so inspired by this book. Trusting God no matter what!!! Awesome.

I wasn't too sure about this book, but a good friend of mine recommended it... and I'm so glad she did. It does start off a little slow, but when it gets going, hold on! Four words: This book is awesome!

I usually use my car time to listen to audios and I generally limit them to just self development books. Since I downloaded this for free, I gave it a listen and could not stop listening to the story. It was such a touching story of God's love and the reality of how we need to be. I can't even imagine being able to be as strong as the characters, each lesson hit me hard and made me think. I highly recommend this audio.
