Annoying Musical Background
This was the audio recording that convinced me Never Again to buy an audio book with a musical background. The 'radio drama' style is really engaging; I just wish they created a version of this production without the incessant droning and orchestral cheese in the background.

Worse yet, some of the abridgements were completely unnecessary, which is a real shame. One example is the way they bypassed any description of the dreams that Joseph interpreted for his fellow inmates, the cup-bearer and the baker, which should have been mentioned in Genesis (ch 40).

A Good Listen
I felt guilty about buying an abridgement of the bible. But felt pretty good after listening to it. Well produced and narrated.
