When Rebecca Kauffman’s older sister, who left the Amish community when she was a teenager, dies in an automobile accident, Rebecca is left custody of her two modern non-Amish teenage nieces, Jessica and Lindsay. Will she be able to reconcile the two worlds in her home—or will the clash of cultures tear her world, including her marriage, apart?
- Love the story, narrator is in a hurry to finish the book.
Love the story, but eventhough the narrator has potentially good reading skills it would be better if she slows down. She doesn’t come up for air and ignores all punctuation marks.
- Best Seller?
I "read" all five books, and enjoyed the story line. However, writing is like painting a picture in the mind of the reader. To do that well, there needs to be a full array of discriptve words on one's pallet. This is where Any Clipston falls short, especially when relating any kind of conversation, she takes us back to Dick and Jane with a "he said, she said" narrative.
