Professor Molly Whitcomb travels to Colorado in the 1870s to start over, but will the local sheriff discover her secret?
Dismissed from the university where she served as Professor of Romantic Languages, Dr. Molly Whitcomb travels west to start over in the secluded mountain town of Timber Ridge, Colorado, where she'll be teaching children. Her train stops in Denver, and on a whim, Molly purchases a wedding band--an attempt to cover a mistake, but also a chance at a fresh start. Sheriff James McPherson was eager to hire a schoolteacher, but Dr. Molly Whitcomb isn't what he expected. His instincts about people--which rarely miss the mark--tell him she's hiding something. And when Molly's secret is revealed, her reinvented life begins to unravel. What's more, she risks losing her new-found relationship with the sheriff and her renewed faith in God.
- Live life after one wrong choice
I loved this story. Sweet and innocent, yet a challenge to live life after one wrong choice.
- Excellent - The Best We have listend to.
Excellent Christian "soap opera". (My wife does not like me calling it a soap opera.) My wife and I find listening to audio novels like this an excellent way to keep us alert when we are driving long distances. I would recommend of course not to be listening when the traffic is busy and complicated needing you to pay attention to only driving but on those long empty stretches of highway, listening to these tapes really helps to keep us awake and the time passes more quickly.
This Beyond the Moment audio novel is simply the best Christian audio novel that we have listened to and we can highly recommend it. (Of course I would not recommend listening to it when you have small children in the car.)
- Heart Warming!
This story really makes you look within yourself and see exactly how you are treating others and ask "Is this how God wants this person to be treated?"
This is a must read/listen!
