Suddenly, Corrie's (1892-1983) ordered life was lost in the insanity of war. With bravery and compassion, her family and countless other Dutch citizens risked everything to extend God's hand to those innocents marked for certain execution in a world gone mad. Corrie ten Boom's life of determination, faith, and forgiveness in the face of unimaginable brutality and hardship is a stunning testimony of the sustaining power of God.
- Not concerned about "accents" - Story is inspiring, epic!
Powerful, stunning story of Corrie's amazing life. Amazing example of forgiveness, under the harshest of circumstances. I think the reviewer that was critical of the accent of the narrator missed the bigger, more important point of this woman's epic story. A pity!
- Great story - botched Dutch accent on the audio
The Story is amazing. The reader often tried to use a Dutch accent but used German pronunciation instead - a big throw off.
