Carmen's learned a lot about herself, too: being popular doesn't guarantee you true friends, honesty up front saves a lot of hurt, and sometimes self-confi dence is just bossiness in disguise. In the fifth and final volume of the popular series, Carmen enters the uncharted waters of adolescence, discovering that her changing moods and growing body bring new challenges to her life.

- Excellent resource for parents of pre-teen girls
Having a pre-teen girl is tough, so I have heard. After listening to Happy Princess, I have learned that statement is fairly accurate. Happy Princess is a coming of age story that concludes a five volume series detailing the life of the fictional character Carmen Browne.
This audiobook is an excellent ministry resource for parents with pre-teen girls and is even more practical in the event that that young lady is being raised by her dad. Though surprised by the story line of the book, I found that I quite enjoyed it.
