Description
A mind-bending supernatural thriller from the creators of This Present Darkness and Showdown.

Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker - two of the most acclaimed writers of supernatural thrillers - have joined forces for the first time to craft a story unlike any you've ever read. Enter House - where you'll find yourself thrown into a killer's deadly game in which the only way to win is to lose...and the only way out is in.

The stakes of the game become clear when a tin can is tossed into the house with rules scrawled on it. Rules that only a madman - or worse - could have written. Rules that make no sense yet must be followed.

Good story, not great narration
Would be five stars except for this: I have to say that Peretti is an excellent writer, and should continue writing and not narrating.

Another Home Run
It has been a while since Peretti has published adult fiction, as he has been focusing on youth and nonfiction. Together, he and Dekker hit another grand slam. This is perhaps truest to the thriller genre out of Peretti's previous novels and it definitely delivers on nail biting suspense. The narrator does a fantastic job as well. Living up to his legacy, Dekker's trademark redemptive style shines through. I really enjoyed the way they were able to cleverly weave an emphasis on marriage fidelity and commitment, in an age when that is almost completely lost in popular authors. So here's both thumbs up for the dynamic duo.
