"I don't even know where to start..."
Feeling overwhelmed? Wondering if it's possible to move from "going crazy" to "in control" when you've got too many projects on your plate and too much mess in your relationships?
Kathi and Cheri want to show you five surprising reasons why you become stressed, so you can learn the doable solutions for each one. Once you identify your underlying hurts, uncover hope, and embrace practical healing, you'll understand how to...
- ditch the to-do list that controls you and create a calendar that works for you
- care less about who's mad at you and more about becoming who God made you to be
- replace fear of the unknown with peace in the process
You can simplify and savor your life—guilt free! Clutter, tasks, and relationships may overwhelm you now, but God can help you overcome with grace.
- Practical steps to lower stress living
I appreciated the approach of the authors to helping their audience address the conditions in life that lead to feeling overwhelmed. The authors took turns giving examples from their own lives of times when they were overwhelmed and explained what actual steps they took to alleviate their stress. The approach made what they were communicating both easier to grasp and encouraging. Identifying with their struggles makes me hope that some of the steps they have taken will benefit me too.
- For busy women everywhere. Calm down, listen and learn.
I'm still going thru this book, but it is totally what I needed to regroup, or just know that others are out there snowed under too. It ministers to me in the midst of juggling all my hats. Wife, mother, homeschool teacher, special ed kids, ministers wife, Sunday school teacher, board member, mentor, +, all these things I love but can quickly become overwhelming. It helps me slow down and think things threw without throwing up my hands.
