Discover Your Love One's Love Language
The 5 Love Languages Military Edition by Gary D Chapman & Jocelyn Green is a great book aimed at helping military marriages survive by figuring out how the husband and wife experience love most powerfully. Some people like gifts, others like quality time, acts of services, encouraging words or physical touch. Often couples have very different ways that they like to receive love and if the husband and wife don't realise this then they can feel really unloved despite the best efforts of both parties.

This book is an adaption of the very popular "The 5 Love Languages" book that has been crucial in saving marriages and restoring relationships through its simple but profound ideas. This adaption targets military couples who have the added pressure of being separated for large portions of time and have added strains on their relationship. There are plenty of stories of military couples struggling but helped by understanding what their partner needs to feel loved. There are also several keys and suggestions specific to military situations that will help couples who are struggling with maintaining a strong marriage while spending a lot of time apart.

Although this book was not particularly applicable to me, as I am not married yet and I have not in the military, I found it very interesting and I think it will be very helpful when I do get married. I had heard of the love languages before as several friends have read the book and we have had discussions about it but it was good to finally real the source material and fully understand the ideas.

The narration is quite good, he sounded a bit like a psychologist or counsellor with a soothing voice and it made to easy to listen and follow along with the stories and ideas.

This book would be great for anyone in the military who is married or plans to be married in the future as it contains some helpful information on making it last despite the difficulties. It would also be great for anyone who is married or who plans to get married even if they aren't in the miliatry as the principles are very similar.
