I love the writings of Jerry Bridges, and this book is yet another work that reveals how we might walk in greater purity and humility before God. It teaches how to work from grace rather than for it! The only reason I took off a star is that the reader of this book is a bit dry, which makes it hard to listen through at times.

As I reached chapter 3 or so I noticed the striking repetitiveness of the narrators emphasizing of words (which is hard to describe). This can be a real distraction once you hear the exact same "vocal pitch" in every single sentence. Also the emphasis laid on words often times seems misplaced to me. But maybe its just me.
