- Great cinematic reading of scripture
-
I really like the Passion Translation and it is certainly a captivating listen.
The ONLY criticism I might have of this audio rendition is that the music is at times slightly distracting from the text, i.e too gloomy at times. I feel some chapters could have used different atmospheric music for the background as it certainly changes the tone of what is being read.
Apart from that I especially like the NT and it's a fun listen.
I'd say get this version and a voice-only version (NKJV or KJV) and you're good to go!Overall - Must own

Fantastic!!
Overall - Amazing must have!

Everyone should own a copy of the Bible in audio format so they can be blessed with the Word on the go. There are many others, however, this one is amazing in that it has many different voice actors and famous names lending their talents. Sound effects and the variety makes this a cut above the usual offerings in that it is adds to the realism. I love listening in the car, around the house, or anywhere! Whether you agree on the chosen voices, the Words are what matter and that is the best part. If you purchase any audiobook make it this one. Just like the Good Book you will enjoy it forever!

- probably the best audio Bible ever made
-
This is fantastic. So much thought obviously went into this. Cherubim sound different than angels (כרובים is arguably derived from Hebrew meaning "as the many" and are possibly composite beings, and the voices reflect this view.) The pacing in the one of the narratives in Zechariah mirrors the underlying Hebrew. The voice actors all throughout are compelling and well-chosen, and the music is very good. This is the best audio Bible I have ever heard and will be a lifelong companion.
Overall - Outstanding!!!

This is better than the NLT dramatized audio bible with Mike Kellogg, in my humble opinion. Love all the sound effects as well as the dramatic reading by all the different actors. Thank you for organizing it into each book. Audible only has chapters and parts making it nearly impossible to navigate which book you want to listen to. Well done!
Overall - Beautifully done audiobook!! Each person speaking has a different voice which kinda makes sense..
-
Absolutely one of the best audio books I have come across...they even will have different voices for different people speaking so you get a better idea of who is speaking.. I would rate this even higher than the Inspired By AudioBible series..

This is a great production.
Overall - Could have been a lot better.

It wasn't the worst, it could have been better. I never liked the fact that there were no chapter indications, it made it difficult to follow and to know where they were many times. I never liked how the person voiced for Jesus sounded, he sounded a bit too emotional for my liking. He always seems like he was crying or something, so I didn't listen to the gospels that much. Also sometime the background music muffled the reading, mind you, I liked it but it got in the way of hearing the word. In the Old Testament, the voice for God was flat. When I read my Bible and say that God was angry, I image him talking with anger just like I or anyone would but in this piece, it's so calm and serene, you couldn't tell that there was anger at all. The reader for Peter sounded too theatrical, almost fake. Otherwise it wasn't the worst but have been much better. I wouldn't recommend it, I think there could have been more effort to sound a lot more natural. Having said that, I still like it but those were just my observations. Just for the unnatural sound of some of the "actors" I'd return the product if I could.
Overall - My favorite audio Bible
-
A am a huge fan of audio Bibles and I listen to them practically daily. I have had several and previously my preference was always for the Alexander Scourby versions (still excellent), but the Word of Promise version has got to be my favorite now. So incredibly well made, the dramatization and sound effects really help to immerse the listener. I personally believe that audio bibles are an essential item for any believer since they create so many opportunities for us to soak up more of the word of God, I would encourage anybody to get an audio Bible and as far as which one to get you will not go far wrong with the Word of Promise audio Bible set.
Overall - Good production of the Word
-
I like the dramatized version, it is nice to listen to this in order to meditate on God's Word
Overall - I do enjoy listening on the go!
-
Once I figured out how to use it, it's great! Just wish there was a shortcut i can place on my homescreen 2 get to it easier!
Overall - Very good material to help you diving into the scriptures, also a great help for those having a hard time reading.
-
This is a very good audio Bible. Instead of one voice just monotonously reading out the text each person has it's own voice and each person that has text is engaged in the story. Without this 'dramatization' it is very difficult to keep focused on the scriptures but now this is made much easier. It has also helped me to remember the text, I often know in the exact words which sentence someone is going to say and not only when Jesus calls out 'it is finished' :-)

love this so much...
Overall - Just keep up the good work. Every one needs Divine food from our Heavenly Father and His Son. .

It is unique and great. It is like watching a movie with closed eyes.
One would feel like being present at all times in the different chapters.Overall - High Quality and Pleasing to Listen To.
-
This was done very very well. High quality audio and sound affects that enhance the story. Often it is like listening to a radio drama. The only down side is navigating through on the phone app. If you want to listen to Genesis then go to the book of Hebrews, you have to scroll through every single book between. That can sometimes take a while. But that is the app, not the quality of the material. I would highly recommend this book.

I love having the complete audio bible on my iphone. On my commute home I listen to the Word of GOD and the Word soothes my soul. The music and different voices keep your attention. Downloading the full version was a bit difficult for me but once I succeeded I was very happy. I recommend this to all of my family and friends.

This is a great resource for studying the scriptures. The Bible is dramatized as if you are there. It makes you want to read the bible. I thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has raised up men and women to make the Bible available to us, again, in this format. I enjoy all the parts and the actors. This is my preferred audio bible. it brings Bible vividly to life.Emotions are included and that makes a huge difference. My family loves it. It is amazing when you read the portions when the Lord Jesus spoke or in the OT, where the father God spoke through the prophets. it is amazing and sweet to listen to the word of God this way.
Overall - Very good dramatization of the NKJV
