This timeless tale of two princesses, one beautiful and one unattractive, and of the struggle between sacred and profane love is C.S. Lewis's reworking of the classical myth of Cupid and Psyche, and one of his most enduring pieces of fiction.

- Great book.
-
One of my favorite books of all times.
Overall - Complex and fascinating work
-
Very well read in such a way that engages the listener. This book, dedicated to C. S. Lewis' brilliant wife Joy Davidman, is a retelling of an Ancient Greek myth centering on a woman and her sister. It is complex and fascinating.

- Not easy but worth the effort

Lewis thought this was his best work of fiction; it is certainly the most literary. Here his love for and fluency with the classics meet his theology. I had read it several times and I particularly like this audio edition.
Overall - Perfect Narrator

I had read this wonderful book before and really enjoyed its audio version. Nadia May is a great narrator..
Overall - A great book, very well read
-
I have loved this book since I first read it several years ago, and Nadia May does a great job of reading it. I have listened to it twice in the past 6 months, once by myself, once with my wife, and both times I enjoyed the performance. I heartily recommend this to both people who love the book, and people who have never read it before.
Overall - Fantastic Narrator

This narrator is one of the best I've ever heard, and the book is fantastic. It took a great deal of effort to press pause, which I suppose is the audio book version of, "I couldn't put it down."
