Challenging and enlightening to me, a traditional conservative christian
This was my first introduction to Lacrae Moore, my brother in Christ. I was challenged by his honest admission of the typical nature of Christian life: it is filled with potholes and setbacks. The Bible is filled with godly people who did terrible things and were still used by God. Lacrae shares how God is doing that in his life and invites us to join him is this journey.
The last few chapters are the best part, but won't make sense without reading from the beginning.
Do not be turned off by Lacrae's associations in the 'secular' music industry, he is a legit christian and is living the way he sees God leading him to be salt and light where he fits in society.

Honest, open and vulnerable
Honest, open and vulnerable. His journey towards grace mirrors everyone else's although the story line is unique and different for each individual. Interesting story - one that we can learn from and reflect upon.

Universal Story
Excellent. Especially the last several chapters. I wonder if Lecrae realizes how universal his story is?
