- Great Story with One Caveat
Lynn Wilder's story of God's deliverance of her family from the falsehoods of the LDS is very encouraging. I only have one concern. Lynn often direct and specific revelation from God; and I find this a bit disturbing, especially in light of the fact that Joseph Smith's similar claims resulted in what came to be the Mormon Church. I advise caution in this. We as Christian's are given many specific directions in Scripture. But outside of that, we might sense His leading, but as fallible individuals, we must be careful against presuming and especially presenting those answers we might have received as God's direct revelation. It's the difference between "God told me" and "I sensed the Lord's leading to..."
