"Have you been wondering what God is up to in this final countdown to eternity? In his book “What To Expect In The Coming Days” author/pastor Jim Hurst will share scriptural insight to two tremendous moves of God that are taking place on earth today. The question is being asked by many, “Will it be judgment or will it be revival?” How about both? For some it will be tremendous revival. Revival that will surpass our wildest imaginations.
For others it will be the most fearsome and horrific time of God’s judgment that man and planet earth has ever experienced. In his book “What To Expect In The Coming Days” pastor Jim will detail both these moves of God that have already begun. Which will you participate in? Revival or judgment? God Himself is asking is posing the question to all men every where, “Who’s side are you on?”"
- It fell short.
I took a chance on this book and felt early concerns over a couple of issues. The first was when the author referenced some characters from the health & wealth realm of Christianity whom I don't trust. The second was his use of the King James version of the Bible which, although a good translation, is definitely showing it's age. These worries were soothed by listening to this individual's message which I found quite consistent with scripture. The final straw that had me stop listening mid book was the complete lack of editing done in the production of the audiobook. The narrator occasionally stumbled over words, especially in the reading of Bible quotes, and would back up and re-read the last phrase or two. This became so common by half way through that I simply abandoned the book as being unlistenable. It's a shame as Jim Hurst did seem to have a valid message to share.
